Solutions that already exist:
- TMSS is instituting a four year project called "Prevention and Protection of Victims of Human Trafficking in Bangladesh (PPVHT-B) Project with the help of the International Organization for Migration (IOM). Their goal is to "address & help trafficking in children, adolescent girls, and women in Bangladesh through coordinated & integrated interventions... by raising awareness of the general public, specific target groups, and creating income generation opportunities for the vulnerable people."
- at the local level, a SAARC convention meets on preventing and combating trafficking in women & children for prostitution
- safer migration through less open borders as many people are abducted and trafficked while migrating across borders
- Protocol to Prevent: a document that addresses the issue of human trafficking which supplemented the United Nations Convention against transnational organized crime in 2000
- AFESIP (an organization that teaches survivors life skills to get a job or run a business in the real world)
- Somaly Mam Beauty Salon (gives women trafficking victims who survived the skills on beauty care and makeup so they can work in the beauty business)
